Lee Founders Weekend 2025: A Celebration to Remember

What a weekend in Lee! The Chamber is thrilled to celebrate another unforgettable Founders Weekend, and we couldn’t have asked for a better turnout—or better weather. From Friday evening’s lively kick-off in downtown with music, food, and the new Library parking lot beer garden (a packed favorite on Friday evening), to Saturday’s spectacular Hometown Parade, the energy never let up. Church Park was buzzing with vendors, delicious food, and live music under the Pavilion—highlights included the Adamsville Ancients and the Berkshire Rhythm Keepers, who even had crowds joining in the drumming circle. Sunday kept the fun rolling with the annual Car Show, Family Fun Day, and new crowd-pleasers like the Dog Parade, which got an incredible turn-out for it’s first run, and  Cornhole Tournament, a new favorite with visions making it better next year already. Everywhere you turned, there was something to discover and enjoy.

We are especially proud of reaching our zero-waste goal this year. Huge thanks go out to the vendors, community groups, and visitors who helped us make it happen—it takes cooperation from everyone, and together we showed what’s possible.

Of course, none of this magic happens without the incredible team behind the scenes. Our heartfelt thanks to the Founders Weekend committee, the many volunteers who gave their time and energy, and the thousands of attendees who came to shop, eat, march, dance, and celebrate with us. You filled our streets, our parks, and our town with joy. We especially want to shout out the Lee Police Department, Lee Fire Department and EMS Services, and Department of Public works who moved more barriers in 2 days than ever before. We couldn’t go it without you!

Lee truly shines when our community comes together, and Founders Weekend 2025 proved it once again. Here’s to the memories we made—and to the ones still to come.
